As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Intern to assist our team in ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the company. This part-time internship is a great opportunity to gain experience of the inner workings of a fast-growing startup, collaborate with various teams, and make a tangible impact on our growth.

Role Overview:

As an Operations Intern at Mauna, you’ll support multiple teams to ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement. You will assist with day-to-day tasks like reviewing product descriptions, monitoring key performance metrics, and identifying process inefficiencies. In this hands-on role, you'll also propose and implement solutions to optimize workflows, improve operational processes, and drive scalability.

We’re looking for a student with at least one year remaining in school, a passion for operational excellence, and an eagerness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Management: Upload, verify, and review product descriptions and content on Mauna’s platform to ensure accuracy and quality for our vendors and customers.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in operational processes and collaborate with the team to strategize and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
• Automation & Optimization: Simplify and automate repetitive tasks, working to scale operational processes to meet the demands of a growing platform.
• KPI Tracking & Reporting: Maintain and update Mauna’s key metrics and KPI reports, providing valuable insights into our performance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Team Collaboration: Understand the needs and challenges of various teams, and provide support in resolving bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies. Your feedback and insights will help the team function more smoothly.

What We are Looking For:

• Currently Enrolled Student: You are pursuing a degree with at least one year remaining in school.
• Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in ensuring that all content, reports, and processes are accurate and well-maintained.
• Problem-Solver: You enjoy tackling inefficiencies and are eager to propose and implement solutions that improve workflows and scale operations.
• Data-Driven: Comfortable tracking and analyzing key metrics, you use data to guide decisions and optimize processes.
